Layout Design

Layouts should be engaging, evocative, and clean. Your reader might not even notice a great layout - they will simply feel satisfied and walk away with a clear idea of what they just read.

+lines was a short lifestyle magazine I designed for a typography course. The project explores engaging layouts that guide the reader and communicate the feel of Mt. Desert Island, an island off the coast of Maine, clearly. The pages balance visual interest and sense of place with readability.
